Android-based Samsung smartphones "Galaxy 3 & Galaxy 5" launched

To follow the launch of Galaxy S and Galaxy Wave, Samsung has launched two another smart pair of smartphones based on operating system Android 2.1. The handsome duo Galaxy 3 i5801 and Galaxy 5 i5503 are reasonably priced at market price of Rs.12,300 and Rs.10,200 respectively in India.

Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 have some in-built Andrid based features such as Layar Reality Browser, Swype Text Input, Touchwiz 3.0 User Interface, All Share and TV QWERTY remote.



Samsung Galaxy 3 i5801 can be even updated to Android Froyo 2.2. Users may enjoy all the advanced features on it such as ThinkFree Office Mobile and supports DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, Real and WMV movie files and FM radio. There is Wi Fi connectivity and its robust 1500 mAH battery gives ample talktime. It has an internal memory of 130MB which is further expandable to 32GB using microSD cards.
